Our two projects

Clinics people can reach, a hospital they can afford, and a fund that never runs out

Project 1

Community clinics and a general hospital

Construction grants for free and low-cost community clinics in Bangalore and other parts of India, and a 100-bed general hospital in Bangalore.

One community clinic
₹75 lakh
First 10 clinics
₹7.5 crore
General hospital
₹60 crore

What each community clinic offers

  • Doctor consultations (OPD) for families who cannot afford private fees
  • A basic laboratory and a pharmacy with essential medicines
  • Follow-up for diabetes, blood pressure, heart and lung disease
  • Video consultations with specialists
  • Vaccination, mother and child care, and health camps

Each clinic costs about ₹75 lakh to build, equip and run for its first year.

The general hospital

  • 100 beds, with emergency care, operating theatres, ICU, diagnostics and a pharmacy
  • Referral centre for the community clinics
  • Fair, transparent prices, and free care for patients who cannot pay
  • Teaching and training for young doctors, nurses and pharmacists

About ₹60 crore (about ₹60 lakh a bed), land not included. We invite land as a gift or a long lease.

How it will happen

  1. Phase 1First community clinics in Bangalore, in rented or donated buildings.
  2. Phase 2More clinics in other parts of India, where the need is greatest.
  3. Phase 3Land, design and approvals for the general hospital.
  4. Phase 4Construction, equipment, staff and opening of the hospital.

All figures are estimates from published Indian cost guides (2025 to 2026). Final budgets come from the architect's and hospital planner's reports and are shared with every funder.

Project 2

The nonprofit corpus fund

A corpus is a permanent fund. The capital is invested safely and is never spent; only its yearly income pays for patient care, research and scholarships.

Phase 1
₹50 crore
Income every year
about ₹3.5 crore
Long-term goal
₹100 crore

What the fund pays for, every year

Chronic patient care

Treatment, medicines and follow-up for patients with long-term illness who cannot pay.

Research

Studies that make care safer, simpler and more affordable.

Healthcare scholarships

For students in medicine, pharmacy and nursing from families who cannot pay fees.

How the fund is protected. The capital is invested only in the safe forms the Income Tax Act allows charitable trusts (such as government securities and deposits in scheduled banks). Corpus donations are accepted with a written direction from the donor, recorded separately and reported in the audited accounts.
Note for companies. Under India's CSR rules, CSR money generally cannot go into a corpus. Companies can fund the fund's programmes instead, such as a year of chronic care or a set of scholarships. We will advise your CSR team.
